Artist Workshop Series: Creating Images

Artist Workshop Series: Creating Images
With Artist
Catherine Guevara
Sunday 19 May, 2-4pm

FREE Event
Suitable for Ages 6-12
Spaces will be limited

In our Artist Workshop Series, local artists share their inspiration and skills with children in a series of free classes.

Join Colombian visual artist and ceramist Catherine Guevara using clay and metal to experience a modelling clay Pendant-Making Workshop, where young artists will craft unique textures, reliefs, and prints on clay using metal wire and natural resources.

The workshop will focus on mini clay slaps outlined with different abstract, animal, floral or human silouetes to create your own handmade pendant. Guided with techniques to use the metal wire to create unique stamps, our young makers will experiment with the endless possibilities of working with clay.

No reservation is required, but spaces will be limited and available on a first-come basis.
