EDUCATION at the Pah Homestead
Learn more about the Wallace Arts Trust collection and the exhibitions on display at the Pah Homestead.
Visits by teachers and students to the Pah Homestead of all levels are welcomed. Schools groups at any level are also welcome to participate in a self-guided tour.
We have a range of activities designed to allow students from years 1 to 13 to actively engage with the exhibitions. These activities cover different strands of the curriculum and can be tailored to your group’s learning objectives. During all activities students are encouraged to explore how the stylistic techniques and practices they learn about could inspire their own art practice.
Our education activities include:
Explore: Close Analysis – Groups are given analysis tasks to look carefully at a range of artworks
Analyse: Compare and Contrast – Groups are asked to compare and debate pairs of works to gain deeper understanding
Evaluate: You be the Judge – Groups are given evaluation criteria to critically evaluate artworks on display
Discover: Drawing and Inspiration – Groups are asked to explore different drawing techniques inspired by works on display
