Explore your creative side. Children are invited to come along, get crafty and be inspired by works on show and recent acquisitions to the Wallace Arts Trust Collection. All our hands-on workshops are suitable for children aged 4-10.
This month come along and be inspired to create your own art work inspired by A Fragile Ecosystem a new photographic exhibition of Aotearoa’s kauri by Chervelle Athena. This project asks how photographs can be used to establish a deeper reflective connection between humans and plants.
This project invites you to show how you care about our trees and our environment. Draw or make your own tree using the photographs in the exhibition or take a walk through the Pah Homestead garden and be inspired by its own many native and exotic trees.
Come in any time between 2-4pm on the third Sunday of the month, all materials are provided.
This event is during Artweek Auckland 2019. We envisage that it will be popular so please come early so as to not be disappointed as numbers are limited.
