The Pah Homestead Heritage Tour and morning tea

Saturday 12 October, 10:30am – 12:00pm

Ever wondered who was lucky enough to live in this magnificent location? On this captivating tour, experienced heritage tour leader Trish Northey will regale you with stories about the Pah Homestead and its intriguing past residents. You’ll have a rare opportunity to climb the stairs to the turret and experience some breath-taking 360° views. You will also be treated to the Homestead Café’s special heritage-themed morning tea.

Did you know:
Ngai Riukiuta, descendants of the Tainui voyaging canoe, settled on the Monte Cecilia site in the 1300s!
In 1872 an attempt was made on the life of then owner of the old homestead, Thomas Russell, by a disgruntled associate, Cyrus Haley, who took eight shots through the windows at random!

Tickets: $35 for adults, $25 for students.
