Photography gallery
A Fragile Ecosystem is a photographic tribute to Aotearoa’s kauri, focusing on how photography can strengthen human connections with the indigenous flora of Aotearoa. This project asks how photographs can be used to establish a deeper reflective connection between humans and plants, thereby promoting a more caring and responsible relationship with Aotearoa’s endangered whenua.

The Trust stages exhibitions of recent acquisitions on a regular basis throughout the year. These demonstrate the support we give the visual arts through our ongoing, active and widespread acquisition programme.

Little Gallery and foyer
Māpura Studios provide professional, person-centred, visual arts classes and art therapy programmes for adults, youth and children of all abilities. The Pah Homestead is proud to showcase works by the artists who attend the studio in Fowlds Park, St Lukes, and satellite locations around Auckland.

In the spirit of the Wallace Art Awards, the Wallace Secondary School Art Awards recognise and celebrate emerging artistic talent in New Zealand. These are the young artists to look out for in the future. Artworks in the mediums of drawing, painting, printmaking, photography and sculpture make up the works on show.

The annual Wallace Art Awards profile outstanding examples of contemporary New Zealand art. The aim of these important awards, with $275,000 in prizes, is to foster, honour and support the practices of visual artists.
